Description
The High-Pressure Seal 33x45x6/5 BAHDSN TTO is a specialised sealing element used in hydraulic engines. Thanks to its design, this seal can withstand high working pressure, making it an ideal solution for hydrokinetic drives. This seal is characterised by an open metal insert on the front side, providing a stable contact surface. This design protects the seal from deformation under pressure, which is crucial for maintaining its full functionality. The High-Pressure Seal 33x45x6/5 BAHDSN TTO is made of NBR, or nitrile rubber. This material is resistant to oils and fuels, making it ideal for use in hydraulic engines. The technical data for this seal includes a maximum working pressure of 150 bars and an average working pressure of 100 bars. The maximum linear speed it can withstand is 2 m/s. Seals marked with the symbols BAHD, BAHDSN, and BAKHDSN are interchangeable and can be used interchangeably in the same applications. This means that if you are looking for a seal with similar parameters but with a different designation, this model will be suitable for you. This product is designed to work in difficult conditions where high reliability and durability of the seal are required. Thanks to its parameters, this seal can meet even the most demanding tasks.
Material
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber)
- Operating temperature-30 °C to +100 °C
Good with oils, fuels, water and compressed air. Not for brake fluid, solvents, strong acids or sunlight.
| Can be used | Do not use |
|---|---|
| Mineral oil, grease and hydraulic oil (H, H-L, H-LP) | Brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1): the ring swells quickly |
| Diesel, fuel oil, kerosene | Sunlight and open air (ozone): the rubber cracks |
| Petrol (gasoline), propane, butane | Acetone, MEK, ethyl acetate and similar solvents |
| Water and water-based liquids, up to +80 °C | Benzene, toluene, trichloroethylene (aromatic and chlorinated solvents) |
| Compressed air, also with oil mist | Synthetic ester oils and fire-resistant fluid HFD-R |
| Water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC) | Strong (concentrated) acids, e.g. nitric and sulfuric, and strong oxidizers |
| Oil-and-water emulsions | Steam and hot water above +100 °C |
| Weak acids, alkalis and salt solutions, at room temperature | |
| Use with cautionPetrol with a lot of bioethanol (E10, E85): better use FKM (Viton) | |
Shows low compression set within the recommended temperature range.
