Description
The High-Pressure Seal 35x48x5.5 BAHD NBR is a specialist sealing element that is used in hydraulic engines. Thanks to its construction, this seal is able to withstand high pressure, making it an ideal solution for hydrokinetic drives. This seal is characterized by an open metal insert on the front side, which provides a stable contact surface. Such a structure protects the seal from deformation under pressure, which is key to maintaining its functionality. The product is made of NBR, or nitrile rubber. This material is resistant to the action of oils and fuels, making it ideal for use in hydraulic engines. The 35x48x5.5 BAHD NBR seal can withstand a maximum working pressure of 150 bars. The average working pressure for this product is 100 bars, and the maximum linear speed is 2 m/s. It is worth noting that seals marked with the symbols BAHD, BAHDSN, and BAKHDSN are interchangeable and can be used interchangeably in the same applications. This means that regardless of the specific model, each of them will be able to fulfill its role under appropriate conditions. This product is designed to work in difficult conditions that require high reliability and durability of the seal. Therefore, the 35x48x5.5 BAHD NBR seal is a choice that will certainly meet the expectations of even the most demanding users.
Material
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber)
- Operating temperature-30 °C to +100 °C
Good with oils, fuels, water and compressed air. Not for brake fluid, solvents, strong acids or sunlight.
| Can be used | Do not use |
|---|---|
| Mineral oil, grease and hydraulic oil (H, H-L, H-LP) | Brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1): the ring swells quickly |
| Diesel, fuel oil, kerosene | Sunlight and open air (ozone): the rubber cracks |
| Petrol (gasoline), propane, butane | Acetone, MEK, ethyl acetate and similar solvents |
| Water and water-based liquids, up to +80 °C | Benzene, toluene, trichloroethylene (aromatic and chlorinated solvents) |
| Compressed air, also with oil mist | Synthetic ester oils and fire-resistant fluid HFD-R |
| Water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC) | Strong (concentrated) acids, e.g. nitric and sulfuric, and strong oxidizers |
| Oil-and-water emulsions | Steam and hot water above +100 °C |
| Weak acids, alkalis and salt solutions, at room temperature | |
| Use with cautionPetrol with a lot of bioethanol (E10, E85): better use FKM (Viton) | |
Shows low compression set within the recommended temperature range.
