Description
The High-Pressure Seal 65x85x7 BAKHDSN NBR is a specialist sealing element that is used in hydraulic engines. Thanks to its construction, this seal is able to withstand high working pressure, making it an ideal solution for hydrokinetic drives. This seal is characterized by an open metal insert on the front side, which provides a stable contact surface. Such a design protects the seal from deformation under pressure, which is key to maintaining its full functionality. The seal is made of NBR, or nitrile rubber, which is a material highly resistant to various external factors. The maximum working pressure of this seal is 150 bar, and the average working pressure is 100 bar. The maximum linear speed it can withstand is 2 m/s. It's worth noting that seals marked with the symbols BAHD, BAHDSN, and BAKHDSN are interchangeable and can be used interchangeably in the same applications. This means that if you're looking for a seal with similar parameters but with a different designation, this product will be suitable for you. This product is designed to work in difficult conditions, where high reliability and durability of the seal are required. As a result, this seal is able to meet even the most demanding tasks.
Material
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber)
- Operating temperature-30 °C to +100 °C
Good with oils, fuels, water and compressed air. Not for brake fluid, solvents, strong acids or sunlight.
| Can be used | Do not use |
|---|---|
| Mineral oil, grease and hydraulic oil (H, H-L, H-LP) | Brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1): the ring swells quickly |
| Diesel, fuel oil, kerosene | Sunlight and open air (ozone): the rubber cracks |
| Petrol (gasoline), propane, butane | Acetone, MEK, ethyl acetate and similar solvents |
| Water and water-based liquids, up to +80 °C | Benzene, toluene, trichloroethylene (aromatic and chlorinated solvents) |
| Compressed air, also with oil mist | Synthetic ester oils and fire-resistant fluid HFD-R |
| Water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC) | Strong (concentrated) acids, e.g. nitric and sulfuric, and strong oxidizers |
| Oil-and-water emulsions | Steam and hot water above +100 °C |
| Weak acids, alkalis and salt solutions, at room temperature | |
| Use with cautionPetrol with a lot of bioethanol (E10, E85): better use FKM (Viton) | |
Shows low compression set within the recommended temperature range.
