Description
The High-pressure seal 95x120x8 BAHDSL15 NBR [Poclain MG21] is a specialist sealing element used in hydraulic engines. Thanks to its design, this seal can withstand high working pressure, making it an ideal solution for hydrokinetic drives. This seal is characterized by an open metal insert on the front side, which forms a stable contact surface. Such a design protects the seal from deformation under pressure, which is crucial for maintaining its full functionality. The High-pressure seal 95x120x8 BAHDSL15 NBR [Poclain MG21] is made of NBR, or nitrile rubber. This material is resistant to the action of oils and fuels, making it ideal for use in hydraulic engines. This seal can withstand a maximum working pressure of 150 bars, and the average working pressure is 100 bars. The maximum linear speed it can achieve is 2 m/s. It's worth noting that seals marked with the symbols BAHD, BAHDSN, and BAKHDSN are interchangeable and can be used interchangeably in the same applications. This means that if you're looking for a seal with similar parameters but with a different designation, this model will be suitable for you. This product is designed to work in difficult conditions, requiring high reliability and durability of the seal. As a result, this is a seal you can rely on in the most demanding applications.
Material
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber)
- Operating temperature-30 °C to +100 °C
Good with oils, fuels, water and compressed air. Not for brake fluid, solvents, strong acids or sunlight.
| Can be used | Do not use |
|---|---|
| Mineral oil, grease and hydraulic oil (H, H-L, H-LP) | Brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1): the ring swells quickly |
| Diesel, fuel oil, kerosene | Sunlight and open air (ozone): the rubber cracks |
| Petrol (gasoline), propane, butane | Acetone, MEK, ethyl acetate and similar solvents |
| Water and water-based liquids, up to +80 °C | Benzene, toluene, trichloroethylene (aromatic and chlorinated solvents) |
| Compressed air, also with oil mist | Synthetic ester oils and fire-resistant fluid HFD-R |
| Water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC) | Strong (concentrated) acids, e.g. nitric and sulfuric, and strong oxidizers |
| Oil-and-water emulsions | Steam and hot water above +100 °C |
| Weak acids, alkalis and salt solutions, at room temperature | |
| Use with cautionPetrol with a lot of bioethanol (E10, E85): better use FKM (Viton) | |
Shows low compression set within the recommended temperature range.
