The WPM wiper ring is an element designed to protect the glands of hydraulic cylinders against various kinds of external contamination. It prevents mud, water and dirt from entering the system, which protects the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper is made of oil-resistant NBR rubber mounted in a steel case, which ensures secure and durable fixing. The design is made to allow easy press-fitting into the housing, which guarantees solid retention even under intensive operating conditions. The flexible rubber lip fits perfectly against the piston rod surface, effectively cleaning it of dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder. Application: hydraulic cylinder glands, working mechanisms of construction and agricultural machinery, systems exposed to mud, dust and water.
