The WPM wiper ring is dedicated to protecting the glands of hydraulic cylinders against external contamination. It prevents the ingress of mud, water and dirt into the system, thereby protecting the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper is made of oil-resistant nitrile rubber (NBR) mounted in a steel case, which ensures a secure and durable fit in the housing. The design, intended for press-fitting, ensures firm retention even under intensive operating conditions. The flexible rubber lip fits closely against the piston rod surface, effectively cleaning it of dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder.
