The WPM wiper ring is designed to protect the glands in hydraulic cylinders against external contamination. It effectively prevents mud, water and dirt from entering the system and thus protects the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper is made of special NBR rubber set in a steel case that ensures a durable and stable fit in the housing. The design is intended for press-fitting into the housing, which ensures a firm hold even under the most demanding conditions. The flexible rubber lip fits perfectly against the piston rod surface, effectively removing dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder.
