The WPM wiper ring is used to protect the glands of hydraulic cylinders against external contamination. It prevents mud, water and dirt from getting into the system, thus protecting the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper is made of oil-resistant NBR rubber placed in a steel case, which ensures a secure fit in the housing. The design is intended for press-fitting into the housing, which ensures stability under intensive operation. The flexible rubber lip fits against the piston rod surface, effectively cleaning it of dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder. Application: hydraulic cylinder glands, mechanisms in construction and agricultural machinery, systems exposed to mud, dust and water.
