The Z-07 wiper ring is an element used to protect against the ingress of dirt, mud and moisture into the working parts of hydraulic cylinders. It is most often used on pins or journals in the cylinder eyes, effectively preventing dirt from getting into the lubricated space. Design and function: The wiper is made of polyurethane (PU), which is characterised by high abrasion resistance. To ensure stability and a firm hold in the seat, the wiper is placed in a steel case. The Z-07 design allows the wiper to be seated in the housing, which ensures a stable fit even in difficult conditions such as heavy dust or vibration. In operation it effectively removes contamination from the moving surface, protecting the bushings and the grease inside from degradation.
