The Z-07 wiper ring is used to protect the inside of the working parts of hydraulic cylinders against contamination, mud and moisture. It is mainly used on pins or journals in the cylinder eyes, where it effectively prevents dirt from getting into the lubricated space. Design and function: The wiper is made of polyurethane (PU), which is characterised by high abrasion resistance, and is seated in a steel case, which provides rigidity and a stable hold in the seat. The Z-07 profile design allows the wiper to be firmly seated in the housing, which guarantees its effective operation even in difficult conditions exposed to intense dust or vibration. In operation the ring effectively removes contamination from the moving surface, which helps protect the bushings and the grease from degradation.
