The Z-07 wiper ring serves to protect the inside of the working parts of hydraulic cylinders against contamination, mud and moisture. It is usually fitted on pins or journals in the cylinder eyes, where it effectively prevents dirt from getting into the lubricated space. Design and function: The wiper is made of polyurethane (PU), which is characterised by high abrasion resistance. Seated in a steel case, it provides rigidity and a solid hold in the seat. The Z-07 design allows the wiper to be pressed into the housing, which guarantees a stable fit in conditions of heavy dust and vibration. In operation it effectively scrapes dirt off the moving surface, protecting the bushings and the grease inside from degradation.
