Bushing for screw compressor BRS 28x35x22

The BRS 28×35×22 sliding bushing is designed for the shafts of screw compressor modules as the counterface of a PTFE shaft seal. Fitted on the shaft, it forms an optimal hard and smooth sealing surface, far more durable than a standard steel shaft. The bushing is made of GCr15 or GCr15SiMn bearing steel after quenching treatment. Its working surface is plunge-ground to a roughness of Ra 0,2 µm, the value a PTFE sealing lip needs to work properly. The surface hardness of HRC 60–65 ensures resistance to abrasive wear even at high peripheral speeds.
