Description
O-ring 72x3 EPDM70 is an O-ring: a sealing ring with a circular cross-section. Inner diameter: 72 mm, cross-section: 3 mm, outer diameter: 78 mm. Material: EPDM. An O-ring is a single elastomer ring. It is compressed in the groove during assembly, and the pressure of the medium then deforms it further, increasing the contact force on the sealing surfaces, so no additional clamping parts are needed. It is used for static and dynamic joints in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber)
- Operating temperature-45 °C to +130 / +150 °C
Good with hot water, steam, glycol brake fluid, ozone and sunlight. Never use with mineral oils, grease or fuels.

Golden rule: no mineral oil or ordinary grease, not even to ease fitting. EPDM swells to about twice its volume and turns to jelly. Lubricate only with silicone grease or glycerin / soap solution.
