Description

The 18x30x6 BAFSL1SF FPM pressure oil seal is a specialist shaft seal used in hydraulic pumps and systems working under pressure. Made of FPM (fluoroelastomer), which provides high chemical and thermal resistance, especially in contact with oils, fuels and aggressive media. The BAFSL1SF design with an open metal insert on the front face stabilises the seal when working under pressure. Safety: if the seal is heated above +300 °C (fire, gas torch), FPM releases toxic hydrogen fluoride. Do not touch the burnt residue with bare hands: it forms hydrofluoric acid and causes chemical burns.
