The WPM wiper ring has been designed to protect the glands of hydraulic cylinders against external contamination. It effectively prevents mud, water and dirt from entering the system, protecting the seals and the piston rod surfaces against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper is made of oil-resistant NBR rubber mounted in a steel case. This ensures a secure and durable fit in the housing and enables firm retention under intensive operation. The flexible rubber lip fits tightly against the piston rod surface, effectively cleaning it of dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder.
