The WPM wiper ring is a practical protective element designed to safeguard the glands of hydraulic cylinders against external contamination. It prevents mud, water and dirt from entering the system, which protects the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The ring is made of oil-resistant NBR rubber set in a steel case, which ensures a secure and durable fit in the housing. The design is intended to be press-fitted into the housing and guarantees a firm hold under intensive operation. The flexible rubber lip fits closely against the piston rod surface and effectively cleans it of dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder.
