The WPM wiper ring is designed to protect the glands of hydraulic cylinders against external contamination. It prevents mud, water and dirt from penetrating the system, protecting the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper is made of oil-resistant NBR rubber material set in a steel case, which ensures a secure and durable fit in the housing. The design is intended for installation by press-fitting, which guarantees a firm hold under demanding operating conditions. The flexible rubber lip fits perfectly against the piston rod surface, effectively cleaning it of dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder. Application: hydraulic cylinder glands, working mechanisms of construction and agricultural machinery, systems exposed to mud, dust and water.
