It prevents mud, water and dirt from penetrating the system while also protecting the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper consists of a flexible NBR rubber element set in a solid steel case, which ensures a stable and durable fit in the housing. The design allows press-fitting into the housing, which guarantees strong fastening even under intensive use. The flexible rubber lip fits precisely against the piston rod surface, effectively cleaning it of contamination and moisture during cylinder operation. Application: hydraulic cylinder glands, working mechanisms of construction and agricultural machinery, systems exposed to mud, dust and water.
