The Z-07 wiper ring is widely used for protection against the ingress of dirt, mud and moisture into the working parts of hydraulic cylinders. It is fitted mainly on pins or journals in the cylinder eyes, preventing dirt from getting into the lubricated space. The wiper is made of polyurethane (PU) with high abrasion resistance, fixed in a steel case, which provides rigidity and stability during use. The Z-07 profile allows it to be fixed in the housing, which ensures stability even in an environment with heavy dust and vibration. In operation it effectively “scrapes” dirt off the moving surface, protecting the bushings and the grease from degradation.
