The Z-07 wiper ring is used for protection against the ingress of dirt, mud and moisture into the working parts of hydraulic cylinders. It is usually fitted on pins or journals in the cylinder eyes, where it effectively prevents dirt from getting into the lubricated space. Design and function: The wiper is made of abrasion-resistant polyurethane (PU), seated in a steel case that provides rigidity and a firm hold in the seat. The Z-07 design allows a stable fit, even under heavy dust and vibration. In operation it effectively “scrapes” dirt off the moving surface, protecting the bushings and the grease from degradation. Application includes pins and hinges of hydraulic cylinders, cylinder eyes in construction and agricultural machinery, and mechanisms lubricated with solid grease and exposed to mud and dust. The materials comprise a polyurethane (PU) working part and a steel case.
