Description
The High-Pressure Seal 45x65x7/6 BAHD NBR is a specialist sealing element used in hydraulic engines. Thanks to its design, this seal can withstand high pressure, making it an ideal solution for hydrokinetic drives. This seal is characterized by an open metal insert on the front side. This design creates a stable contact surface that protects the seal from deformation under pressure. As a result, this seal can withstand even the most challenging working conditions. The seal is made of NBR, or nitrile rubber. This is a material highly resistant to oils and greases, making it ideal for use in hydraulic engines. The maximum working pressure of this seal is 150 bar, and the average working pressure is 100 bar. The maximum linear speed it can withstand is 2 m/s. Seals marked with the symbols BAHD, BAHDSN, and BAKHDSN are interchangeable and can be used interchangeably in the same applications. This means that if you are looking for a seal with similar parameters but with a different designation, you can confidently choose this model. This product is designed to work in difficult conditions where high reliability and durability of the seal are required. Thanks to its parameters, this seal can meet even the greatest challenges.
Material
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber)
- Operating temperature-30 °C to +100 °C
Good with oils, fuels, water and compressed air. Not for brake fluid, solvents, strong acids or sunlight.
| Can be used | Do not use |
|---|---|
| Mineral oil, grease and hydraulic oil (H, H-L, H-LP) | Brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1): the ring swells quickly |
| Diesel, fuel oil, kerosene | Sunlight and open air (ozone): the rubber cracks |
| Petrol (gasoline), propane, butane | Acetone, MEK, ethyl acetate and similar solvents |
| Water and water-based liquids, up to +80 °C | Benzene, toluene, trichloroethylene (aromatic and chlorinated solvents) |
| Compressed air, also with oil mist | Synthetic ester oils and fire-resistant fluid HFD-R |
| Water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC) | Strong (concentrated) acids, e.g. nitric and sulfuric, and strong oxidizers |
| Oil-and-water emulsions | Steam and hot water above +100 °C |
| Weak acids, alkalis and salt solutions, at room temperature | |
| Use with cautionPetrol with a lot of bioethanol (E10, E85): better use FKM (Viton) | |
Shows low compression set within the recommended temperature range.
