Description
The 25×38×6,5 TCV NBR pressure oil seal is a rotary shaft seal made of nitrile rubber (NBR). The DMHUI brand product (code 1901061) is intended for use under increased pressure in hydraulic systems, e.g. in hydraulic pumps and motors, gearboxes, and industrial and construction machinery. The TCV design has a metal case and a flexible sealing lip with a spring, which ensures tightness under dynamic loads and resistance to typical hydraulic media. Technical data: Inner diameter (d): 25 mm Outer diameter (D): 38 mm Height (H): 6,5 mm Inch size: 0.984 × 1.496 × 0.256 in Material: NBR (nitrile rubber) Design type: TCV - rotary shaft seal adapted for operation at increased pressure Maximum working pressure: up to approx. 10 bar (indicative value - depends on rotational speed, temperature and type of medium) Peripheral speed: up to 10 m/s Application. The TCV 25×38×6,5 NBR seal is used in hydraulic pumps (gear, vane, piston).
Material
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber)
- Operating temperature-30 °C to +100 °C
Good with oils, fuels, water and compressed air. Not for brake fluid, solvents, strong acids or sunlight.
| Can be used | Do not use |
|---|---|
| Mineral oil, grease and hydraulic oil (H, H-L, H-LP) | Brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1): the ring swells quickly |
| Diesel, fuel oil, kerosene | Sunlight and open air (ozone): the rubber cracks |
| Petrol (gasoline), propane, butane | Acetone, MEK, ethyl acetate and similar solvents |
| Water and water-based liquids, up to +80 °C | Benzene, toluene, trichloroethylene (aromatic and chlorinated solvents) |
| Compressed air, also with oil mist | Synthetic ester oils and fire-resistant fluid HFD-R |
| Water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC) | Strong (concentrated) acids, e.g. nitric and sulfuric, and strong oxidizers |
| Oil-and-water emulsions | Steam and hot water above +100 °C |
| Weak acids, alkalis and salt solutions, at room temperature | |
| Use with cautionPetrol with a lot of bioethanol (E10, E85): better use FKM (Viton) | |
Shows low compression set within the recommended temperature range.
