The Z-07 wiper ring is used as a shield against the ingress of dirt, mud and moisture into the working parts of hydraulic cylinders. It is mainly used on pins or journals in the cylinder eyes, effectively preventing dirt from getting into the lubricated space. Design and function: The wiper is made of polyurethane (PU), which is characterised by high abrasion resistance. It is seated in a steel case, which provides rigidity and a stable hold in the seat. The Z-07 design allows the wiper to be pressed into the housing, ensuring a solid fit even in difficult conditions such as heavy dust and vibration. In operation it effectively removes dirt from the moving surface, protecting the bushings and the internal grease from degradation.
