The WPM wiper ring is used to protect the glands of hydraulic cylinders against external contamination. Its main task is to prevent mud, water and dirt from entering the system, which protects the seals and the piston rod surface against accelerated wear. Design and function: The wiper is made of oil-resistant NBR rubber placed in a steel case that ensures a durable fit in the housing. The design is intended to be press-fitted into the housing, which allows a firm hold even under intensive operation. The flexible rubber lip fits ideally against the piston rod surface, effectively cleaning it of dirt and moisture during the working stroke of the cylinder. Application: hydraulic cylinder glands, working mechanisms of construction and agricultural machinery, systems exposed to mud, dust and water.
