The Z-07 wiper ring is a key element protecting against the ingress of dirt, mud and moisture into the working parts of hydraulic cylinders. It is most often installed on pins or journals in the cylinder eyes, where its function is to prevent dirt from getting into the lubricated space. The design of the Z-07 seal profile is made of polyurethane (PU) with high abrasion resistance, seated in a steel case to maintain rigidity and a firm hold in the seat. This design solution allows the wiper to be seated in the housing, which ensures a stable fit even in conditions of heavy dust and vibration. In operation the wiper effectively removes dirt from the moving surface, protecting the bushings and the internal grease from degradation.
